Tameside Voice
- The network of networks.
Voice is a meeting place for all community,
voluntary and faith groups. It enables all kinds of Tameside groups and
communities to influence key decisions that affect the community and
voluntary sector.

Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Network - Aims to identify the unmet needs of BME Communities working with existing groups and develop new groups. It helps groups obtain resources, create a representative and consultative infrastructure and build communication. Contact hakeel.qureshi@t3sc.org

Crime and Disorder Reduction Network
- Brings together voluntary and community organisations to improve the
quality of life in local areas and support a safer borough.

FaithsUnited
- The Network aims to bring together people of different
faiths in Tameside. It is a network committed to develop fellowship by
increasing mutual understanding through dialogue, networking, and

Health
and Social Care Network
- Brings together groups whose work has a health focus.
Particular emphasis with self help/support groups it provides an
opportunity to share information about services, receive briefings and
shared training and also develop a collective voice to influence
statutory sector developments/service and strategy. Contact

Tameside Community Union - For those working with children,
young people and families. Brings together groups and organisations in the voluntary community and faith sector whose work is with and for children, families and young people. Contact veronica.hyde@t3sc.org -
TOPAG (Tameside Older Peoples Advisory Group)- A representative network for the interests of older people in Tameside; it provides opportunities for older people (50+) to meet together, discuss issues which they have identified as important to them, and present these to decision makers at local, regional and national levels. VOLCON (Voluntary Organisations Chief Officers Network) - Brings together the senior managers in voluntary organisations in Tameside to share information and experiences, and provides mutual support, develops joint working and a stronger voice building more effective relationships with statutory agencies in Tameside.
