LINk - Local Involvement
Network
LINk Survey report
The Tameside Local Involvement Network (LINk) has been set up to give Tameside residents a way to have their say about how health and care services are run. During the past six months we have surveyed local people and asked what they think it's important for us to look at this year. We will be working on four priority areas:
- Access to GP services
- Access to NHS dental services
- Community based mental health services
- Having control of your social care services
If you have experience of these services and want
to get involved we'd like to hear from you! We want to make sure our work
includes the things that are important to people from across Tameside.

What is LINk?

Tameside Local Involvement Network (LINk) is a
new network for local residents and voluntary and community groups.
It has been set up to give people a chance to have a say in
improving local health and social care services.
The LINk aims to allow every local resident to have a voice and
comment on the services you receive. You can
get involved to work with the people who run your services to help
make them better for you, your friends and family.
The Government gave the LINk real powers which means that the people
who provide your local doctors and dentists,
run your local hospital, control your local
care homes, daycare centres and sheltered housing,
all have to listen to what the LINk says and
consult it when making any changes to your services.
This gives local people real power to influence change at the highest
level and help to improve services for everyone in Tameside.
Get involved. Have your say. Make a
difference.
