Prevention Opportunites Fund - set up by Tameside Council and the Primary Care Trust Priorities/Aims: This funding
will be used to provide grants for innovative and creative projects and
activities that will support the Prevention Strategy and robust
performance monitoring will enable learning for future developments in
the borough. There will be two rounds of
applications. This will allow the Children and Young People’s Strategic
Partnership to engage with as many providers as possible, and will
ensure that schools are not excluded from the process, the first round
of which will take place largely over the school summer holidays.
Applications for round one should be submitted by 16 July, with
presentations made to the Joint Commissioning Executive on 5 August
2008.
