Feedback from a Voice participant
Voice is the meeting place for all community, voluntary and faith groups. Voice
enables Tameside groups and communities to influence
key decisions that affect the community and voluntary sector. Don’t miss your
chance to:
- Get informed
- Meet others
- Have your say
Please let us know if you are coming - Tel: 0161 339 4985 or email: voice@t3sc.org
Do
do do the Funky Lizard!
6 May, 2pm - 7pm at Dukinfield Town Hall
A celebration of the contribution of the third sector to the lives of families and young people in Tameside.
See great partnership work in action.
A great free networking opportunity, load of information and advice for community groups - including a funding guide.
Great entertainment from Tameside's children and young people.
Announcement of the five £200 learning awards.
And if that wasn't enough Wayne Kay will be broadcasting his show - In the afternoon - live from the event between 2pm-4pm.
IDAHO
Day walk and picnic
16 May, 1pm at Ashton Town Hall
Proud Tameside (with the support of T3SC) is organising a
walk and picnic to mark IDAHO Day. IDAHO stands for International Day Against
Homophobia.
IDAHO is needed because 86 countries still criminalise homosexuals and in 7 of
those countries it is punishable by death.
We are holding the walk and picnic on the 16 May at 1pm and plan to walk from
Ashton Town Hall to Stamford Park. Everyone is welcome just bring your picnic
along.
If you are interested in coming along please contact
Anna at T3SC for more details, Tel: 0161 339 4985, email
anna.hynes@t3sc.org.
Look out for the rainbow flags on public buildings across Tameside. These promote the positive work that is happening in Tameside to
support the LGBT community.
