Community Youth
Alliance – meeting the needs and wants of young people
in Tameside

On the 24 June, T3SC hosted a brand new alliance –
Tameside Community Youth Alliance. Young people and adults decided that the aim
of this group would be to meet the needs and wants of young people in Tameside
and that this alliance would be led by young people.
This group is for people who already work with young people and for those who
want to work with young people in the future, as well as young people who want
to set up their own projects. It will give young people a real voice, and give
groups access to information on funding and a place to meet others and share
skills.
The next meeting is on the 22 July at 5.30pm. at T3SC and it would be
great if more groups join us. We will be networking and discussing marketing
this group so that a lot more community providers attend as well at networking.
.Please remember though – if you are over 25 bring a young person with you!
