Planning a marketing campaign
9 September, 10am-12pm
By the end of this
session you will be able to see the different ways your group can market itself
and produce a marketing campaign outline to use.
Measuring quality—PQASSO
16 September, 12pm-2pm
How do you know that you are good at managing your organisation? Can you PROVE
to funders that you are good at providing the service you said you would
provide?
There is a way to do this using a tool called PQASSO. Don’t let the word PQASSO
put you off coming to this two hour lunch and learn session. This is a good
opportunity for you to find out about PQASSO and what
the benefits may be to your organisation. PQASSO -

Are your leaflets looking
old and too busy, do you find it hard to know where to start? In this session
you will identify what looks good and then create your own design for a leaflet
for your group or event.

Hear by Right Workshop
Manchester, 8 September
Hear by Right Workshops are designed to provide information about using the Hear
by Right standards framework to draw up a map of current participation with
children and young people in your organisation and create an agreed strategic
plan for improvement.
The workshops are for all staff interested in or delivering children and young
people’s participation, including key participation leaders and senior
management. Participants will hear about the Hear by Right standards framework
and learn how to use the Participation Works Hear by Right Self-Assessment Tool.
Hear by Right, Your Questions Answered (Current Users)
Manchester, 9 September
This free session is aimed at anyone already using the Hear by Right standards
and offers an opportunity to ask questions and seek advice about the use of Hear
by Right in your particular setting. The session is a great opportunity to
network and discover how to access other local Hear by Right and participation
support.
Building a Culture of Participation
Manchester, 17 September
Building a Culture of Participation explores how an organisation’s culture can
be established to support children and young people’s active and meaningful
participation across the organisation. It is based on developing skills and
knowledge in participation, involving self and organisational analysis as well
as action planning. This course aims to equip individuals with basic theory and
practical approaches to participation, to help them build a culture of
participation.

- Share things that have helped other disabled people at work.
- Develop your negotiation and stress busting skills.
- Explore effective ways to resolve workplace barriers.
