Funding Central is a free smart website for the whole
voluntary and community sector, including social enterprise, providing access to
thousands of funding and finance opportunities, plus a wealth of tools and
resources supporting organisations to develop sustainable income strategies
appropriate to their needs.

Open Up Initiatives Scheme
Mind is seeking applications to its Open Up Initiatives
Scheme. The aim of Open Up is to give a voice to people with experience of
mental distress by enabling them to work together to take action against mental
health discrimination. As well as providing financial support, it offers access
to resources, training and the opportunity to link with others. Two projects
will be selected within each England region and an average of £2,500 will be
available per project to cover expenses.
Closing date: 15 August.

Hardship Fund
Office of the Third
Sector has announced that the Hardship Fund will be delivered
by the Community Development Foundation. Grants of between £50,000 and £250,000
will be available to organisations with a turnover of at least £200,000 that are
in financial hardship which is impacting on their ability to deliver services in
the following areas: health and social care; housing support; education and
training; information, advice and guidance. The fund will be open from the end
of July, you can register your interest by emailing

(GSK) Impact Awards
GSK's IMPACT Awards are now open for applications. If you
are a health charity seeking core funding go to:

Children England small grants
Children England is offering small grants of up to £2,500
to support good practice on equality and diversity by children and young
people's organisations, and is also seeking examples of current good practice.

Youth Opportunity funds
available
Youth Opportunity Fund (YOF) have been awarded £300,000 to fund young people's projects all over Tameside. If you are aged 13-19 living in Tameside and have ideas on how you or your group could spend some of this money let them know.
Your application needs to be something that will clearly benefit young people and/or provide activities or facilities for your community.
